Leadership Team

Marcel and Manuel are two brothers who during the last decade have successfully worked together on several energy and real estate projects. At the beginning of their professional careers, they independently found their way into the energy industry after immigrating from Nicaragua to pursue higher education. Manuel lives in the USA and Marcel lives in Mexico.

Manuel holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Rice University; he lives in Houston with his wife and two daughters. Marcel holds an undergraduate degree in International Business from Anáhuac University and an MBA from Thunderbird University/EGADE; he lives in Mexico City with his wife, daughter and son. Manuel has participated in the creation and execution of commercial strategies in the USA, Latin America, and Europe. He has experience in Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream Oil and Gas as well as Renewable Energy via the creation of a solar energy company in 2014. Marcel designed and implemented various strategic and commercial initiatives as Chief Administrative Officer, Managing Director and Board Member at Demar. Together, they have over 30 years of experience in the energy markets.

In 2023 they continue to join forces to pursue their  vision of establishing a business strategy and execution firm that would help strengthen relationships between companies in Latin America and the United States. Together with CALUR, they are convinced they can contribute to the nearshoring tendency, strengthening new markets and creating long term alliances.
